Muscari, also known as Grape Hyacinths, are very dependable naturalizers that easily spread. They like to be in a spot that is shaded in summer, as under deciduous trees and shrubs, and they love an organic and moist soil. Muscari throws off flower stems in succession and provides flowers for weeks on end.

Muscari latifolium. This grape-hyacinth is a free flowering species from Turkey. It has a clear blue top on its spike of flowers while the lower half of it is a deep violet-blue.
Don’t hide them too far in the under-plantings as this is a very interesting flower.
